Top mounted magnetic level switches are available in various models, which differ in terms of the length of the stem and the size/number of float. The most common top-mounted magnetic level switch is the top-mounted single-point Level Switch, which has a simple design and is relatively easy to install.

However, more complex top-mounted magnetic level switches, such as top-mounted multi-point Level Switches, are also available. These devices have multiple floats, which allows them to monitor the level of liquids at multiple points. As a result, top-mounted multi-point level switches are more accurate than top-mounted single-point level switches.
