RTD Thermocouple Manufacturers
RTDs and Thermocouples are sensors used to measure various substances' heat in Fahrenheit and Kelvin scales.
An RTD (Resistance temperature Detector) works on metals' electrical resistance principle. As the heat of any metal rises, so does its electrical resistance. This change can be translated into reading via a sensor for known metals. These devices are usually constructed of copper, nickel and platinum.
Thermocouples are temperature sensors that use two different metals to produce a voltage that is then used to calculate a temperature reading.
Both these instruments provide very precise results and are used in systems where very high accuracy is needed to monitor the conditions of temperature difference.
