Pressure Transmitter Manufacturers
A pressure transmitter, also known as a pressure transducer, is an electromechanical device used to measure the expansive force that fluids exert in closed process systems. Pressure is usually measured as a quantity of force per unit surface area and is expressed as the value required to stop the fluid from expanding. This measure is critical in certain pressure-sensitive systems and must be constantly monitored.
These instruments are usually composed of pressure-sensitive areas made of steel or silicon; behind this surface are electronic sensors capable of converting the applied force into readable values, which are then displayed or transmitted to required systems to be monitored.
