Digital Positive Displacement Flow meters are highly accurate flow meters that provide a digital reading of the flow rate of the medium in question. Positive displacement flow meters measure the flow rates of fluids of varying viscosity. They can do this by repeatedly trapping a fixed amount of fluid in a rotating chamber and emptying it.
The flow rate is directly proportional to the rotation of this precise measuring chamber. Electronic sensors provide this reading in a digital format.
These meters are highly accurate and can handle liquids with varying viscosity in large amounts. They are widely in use all over the manufacturing industry.
